Frequently Asked Questions:
What does a complimentary water analysis include?
A complimentary water analysis conducted by one our certified water
specialists includes the following tests: Hardness, Ph, CO2, Iron,
Nitrates, TDS, Chlorine, Manganese and turbidity For a small fee,
we would be glad to test for bacteria, lead and or radium. Once
we determine your water chemistry we can design a system to address
your water concerns and issues.
Why do I need a water softener?
Hard water is one of the leading causes of water pipe damage. It
is corrosive to water heaters, dishwashers, washing machines and
clothing. A water softener will add a longer life to appliances.
Softened water also needs a lot less soap in household uses. It
is also better for your skin and hair because it is less drying
and again, you don't need to use as much soap.
What causes the rotten-egg odor in my water?
What you smell is hydrogen sulfide. Hydrogen sulfide is produced
by decaying vegetation and is prominent in swampy areas. You may
find that the smell comes and goes with the seasons. A carbon-based
system is very efficient in eliminating odor.
Why do I need a reverse osmosis drinking water system?
A reverse osmosis is a first line defense against bacterial contamination
in your drinking water. It is an excellent alternative to bottled
water because it is more efficient, more convenient and over the
long-term is less expensive.

Why do I need a water neutralizer?
A water neutralizer is used to treat high acidity/low ph water conditions.
It is referred to as acid water. Signs of low ph or acid water are
blue or green staining and signs of corrosion on water pipes. Acid
water is highly corrosive to piping as well as appliances.
